Austin Resource Recovery Fix-It Clinic

I shot and edited a “come with me” style video showcasing the Austin Resource Recovery Fix-It Clinics which encourage Austinites to fix their items rather than tossing them out which adds waste to the landfill. The video earned almost 2,000 views and was one of the most engaging videos on the page.

World Car Free Day

I created a “come with me” style video showing our audience how easy and exciting a car-free commute to work can be. The video earned over 8,000 views and more than 500 engagements.

Austin Resource Recovery - Holiday Video (TT Trend)

To encourage residents to consider zero waste gift giving for the holidays, I conceptualized a video based on a trend circulating social platforms. The video was shot on iPhone and edited in CapCut. It earned over 9,500 views and over 300 engagements.

Mask Up - COVID-19 Video

As part of our efforts to engage Gen-Z and millennials in COVID-19 content, we created a video to the tune of Cardi B’s Up song.

Party at the People’s House Recap Video

Shot on iPhone, this event was part of the overarching City #WeAllBelong campaign. The video was edited in CapCut, posted on the Big 3 platforms and garnered over 9,600 views.

National Bird Day - Mayfield Park Peacocks

For National Bird Day, I proposed a video showcasing the beautiful peacocks in Austin’s Mayfield Park. Shot on a DSLR and edited in CapCut, the video broke the record for highest viewed Reel on the City of Austin’s page with over 137,000 views.

Pease Park Troll Unveiling

Shot on iPhone during the unveiling event, this video was created to showcase the newest addition of Pease Park’s #ArtInThePark series. As many Austinites visit and exercise on this park’s trail, I was certain that the popularity of this announcement would make a successful video—and it did. Earning over 79,000 views and more than 4,500 engagements, this video is the second-most popular in the City’s history on Instagram.

Balcones Recycling Video

This video was shot on iPhone to showcase the facility of one of our partners, Balcones Recycling.

Plastic Bag Recycling Video

This video was created to encourage Austin residents to recycle their bags at local retailers rather then throwing them into the trash or incorrectly recycling them in the blue bin. It earned over 3,000 engagements, the second highest in the page’s history.

Beauty all around You

This video was shot on Canon and iPhone cameras and edited in CapCut. It is a feel good post displaying the beauty in various spots around Austin.

National Tradesmen Day

This video was created for City social media channels using Adobe Premiere Pro and garnered over 5,800 views.

Panama City Restaurant Video - Tántalo

This video was created to review the restaurant Tántalo in Panama City. It was shot on iPhone and edited in CapCut.

"For the Love of Air Quality" was a mini-campaign I developed to tie Valentine's day into the messaging of the department. Each image features actions that could be romantic as well as good for the environment.

Clean Air Action Day provides citizens with an opportunity to utilize alternative methods of travel to improve air quality. These graphics include tips that inform college students on alternative commutes to campus to improve air quality.
